Challenge: Replace an existing corporate program maintained by a vendor over 1500 miles away. The existing vendor required manual orders to be sent via fax and order production took almost 3 weeks to complete. The apparel program was essential to an organization tasked with hosting multiple events per month and continuous turnover due to the nature of student employment.
Solution: We proposed and the alumnae association agreed to participate in our company store program. All departments within the organization now have the capability to place orders online 24 hours a day / 7 days a week. Production lead times have been reduced to approximately 7 business days.
